About Make The Take

Make The Take is a free sports prediction game. We turn real games — across the NBA, NHL, MLB, NFL, and more — into quick yes/no calls. You pick a side, lock it in before the game starts, and find out how you did when the final whistle blows. No money changes hands. It's all about your record, your standing on the leaderboard, and the bragging rights that come with calling it right.

The idea

Everyone watching a game has an opinion — who's going to win, who's going to go off, who's due for a quiet night. Make The Take is a place to put those opinions on the record. Each day we publish a fresh set of props (short for propositions): simple questions about upcoming games with two possible answers. You make your call, the game plays out, and we grade it automatically from the real results.

Over time those calls add up into a record — your wins, losses, and a score that tells the world how sharp your reads really are.

How it works

1. Browse a pack. Each day's props are grouped into packs — bundles tied to a game or a slate of games. Open one and you'll see a stack of questions to swipe through.
2. Make your takes. For each prop, pick a side — Team A or Team B, over or under, yes or no. That pick is your "take."
3. Lock it in. Takes lock when the game starts, so everyone is calling it before the action — no peeking at how things are going.
4. Watch it play out. We pull live scores as the games happen, so you can follow along.
5. Get graded. When games finish, results are graded automatically from the final stats. Correct takes earn you tokens and move you up the leaderboard.

Tokens, scoring & leaderboards

Every new account starts with a balance of tokens. When you nail a take, you earn more — and tougher calls (the ones most people get wrong) are worth more than the safe ones. Your token total is your score: the higher it climbs, the higher you sit on the leaderboard against everyone else playing.

To be clear: tokens have no cash value. You can't buy them and you can't cash them out. They're a way to keep score and a reason to come back and beat your friends.

Play with friends

Make The Take is more fun head-to-head. You can follow other fans, join or create groups to compete in your own circle, and share a take or a pack with a link so friends can make their own calls on the same games. Earn badges for streaks and standout days along the way.

Where the props come from

We build props from real game data and live betting markets, and we use AI to help write them clearly and grade them fairly against the final results. The goal is always a question that's easy to understand, has a clean right-or-wrong answer, and is genuinely fun to call.
